GOOD TO KNOW

A few clear answers.

What is an Instagram transcript generator?

It turns the spoken audio in a public Instagram Reel or video post into text. Paste a link to make an Instagram Reel to text or Instagram video to text transcript.

Can I transcribe an Instagram Reel without captions?

Yes. Transcription is based on the video's audio, so captions added as on-screen stickers aren't required. Clear speech usually gives the best result.

Which Instagram links are supported?

Public Reel links and public video posts are supported. Private accounts, follower-only posts, Stories, live broadcasts, and links that require sign-in can't be accessed.

Can I download or copy the transcript?

Yes. Copy the text, download a plain TXT file, or export timed subtitles as SRT or VTT. Turn on timestamps before transcribing to show timings in the transcript.

Does it translate the transcript?

No. The transcript stays in the spoken language. Choose a spoken language for transcription or use automatic detection.
