FRAMEWORD
PRIVATE BY DESIGN / NO HISTORY SAVED
ABOUT

A small tool, clearly explained.

FRAMEWORD turns the audio in a public Instagram Reel or video post into clean text you can copy, quote, or subtitle. That is the whole product.

What this site does

Paste a link to a public Instagram Reel or video post. Pick a spoken language or let the tool detect one. Press Transcribe video. The tool returns the spoken text. You can copy it or download a plain TXT file, an SRT subtitle file, or a VTT subtitle file. We do not transcribe text stickers that are baked into the video, and we do not translate.

What this site is not

  • Not a private-post viewer. We only accept /reel/ and /p/ paths on instagram.com that open without a sign-in.
  • Not a downloader of the original video. We never write the video bytes to disk.
  • Not a translation service. The transcript stays in the spoken language.
  • Not a social network. There is no feed, no comments, no follows, no profiles.

How it works, in plain terms

  1. Your browser sends the pasted URL and language hint to a Pages Function on this site.
  2. The Pages Function calls Supadata (our speech-to-text vendor) and forwards the transcript back to your browser.
  3. Your browser renders the transcript and lets you copy or download it. Nothing is stored.

The transcription step is paid for out of FRAMEWORD's own operating budget. We do not currently charge users, and we do not require sign-up.

Why it exists

Public Reels carry information that is hard to search, quote, or reuse: recipe steps, language drills, source code walkthroughs, song lyrics, interview answers. A transcript makes the audio usable. The tool does that and nothing else.

What we will not add

  • No login or account.
  • No saved history, no "recent submissions" list, no analytics on who submitted what.
  • No ad tracking tied to a submitted URL. Advertising on this page, once approved, runs without knowing which link you transcribed.
